Ojai Valley School offers a robotics program for middle and high school students to design, build, and program robots for regional competitions. Students work with physics and math instructors in the tech labs on both campuses to develop coding and engineering skills while working as part of a collaborative team.
At the Upper Campus, the new Aramont Science and Technology Center will include a spacious new robotics lab and Makerspace in support of this popular and growing area of the high school program. Students will soon have an expanded classroom area dedicated to engineering, innovation, and robot design, generously funded by the Stanley and Joyce Black Family Foundation.
OVS hosts the FIRST Tech Challenge competitions at its Lower Campus. OVS is represented by two high school teams and one middle school team. Read more about OVS Robotics on the student journalism website, On The Hill.
