The fourteen-year education each of my sons received at Ojai Valley School taught them much more than how to become scholars. It taught them how to be outdoorsmen, equestrians, athletes, photographers, artists, writers, thinkers, global citizens, and leaders — all within a framework of character, integrity, and accountability. Ojai Valley School prepared them for much more than college, it prepared them for life.
Lorie Helman, past parent
Ojai Valley School prides itself on being not just a school, but also a home and a community. Current and past parents for all grades contribute through their positive advocacy and volunteerism. They attend school events, join the Parent Club, volunteer as room parents, attend All-School meetings, support Teacher Appreciation Week, attend and volunteer for Parent Weekend events, and promote fundraising efforts such as the Annual Fund. OVS parents are strong supporters of the school’s mission, policies, and academic expectations. Individually, many parents act as local families for resident students whose own families live far way, inviting students into their homes for weekends and holidays.
Our goal is to keep parents well informed about campus life, events, and ways to get involved. We hope this section of the website will provide valuable resources, such as the school calendar, updates from the Student Health Center, photos of recent events, as well as direct links to the Family Access Module (FAM), our online portal where parents can access student grades, enrollment contracts, health and registration forms.
