Parents

One of the first things many parents ask is how they can get involved. OVS prides itself on being not just a school but also a community and a home-away-from-home for our boarding students. As such, there are numerous activities for families throughout the year and ways for parents to get involved and stay informed.

OVS encourages parents to develop open communication with their student’s teachers and attend OVS functions and events, such as Family Weekend and Parent Club events. Parents at the Lower Campus are invited to attend All-school meetings on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The school sends a weekly newsletter to families on Fridays.
