Parent Club

Purpose Statement
The purpose of the OVS Parent Club is to support the philosophy of the school by creating a positive atmosphere that furthers a sense of community, spirit, and cultural enrichment.

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! The OVS Parent Club works in concert with the School’s administration on both campuses to provide volunteer support for special events, projects and community activities.

This year, many of those efforts will be launched by Spud Hub, a evolution of the Parent Club, that strives to build community, support cultural exploration, and create positive vibes through outreach and events. Named after the school’s mascot, the Spud (yes, a potato), the OVS Spud Hub will focus on deepening relationships between the school and its community of students, families, staff, and alumni through in-person gatherings, cultural events that celebrate the diversity of our community, and volunteer-led activities such as Teacher Appreciation Week, the Spud Classic Golf Tournament, the International Food Festival, Family Fun events, and much more!

We encourage new parents to get involved to help bring the school’s philosophy to life by building a positive atmosphere that boosts the spirits of everyone in our community! Join us for an upcoming Spud Hub meeting or attend one of our “Coffees” with Interim Head of School Craig Floyd.
