Cindy Carver - High School Faculty

Biography
Mrs. Carver joined the high school faculty as a Learning Center teacher in August 2024. She assisted in the Learning Center during the previous school year and now brings her skills full time as an instructor for students with diagnosed learning differences and those who need help with organization, time management and general academic support. Mrs. Carver previously worked as a social worker and counselor in Ventura County. She earned her BA in English Literature from UCSB, and her MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. The ultimate soccer mom, Mrs. Carver has coached, refereed and has served as Regional Commissioner of the local Ojai AYSO for the past five years. She enjoys camping, backpacking, hiking with her dog, Greta, and scary adventure sports like riding motorcycles in the California desert. Her son, Caleb, is an OVS graduate now attending Oregon State University and her daughter, Danika, is a current student at the Upper Campus.
