The OVS Annual Fund is the primary source of support for our operating budget aside from tuition. Like at most independent schools, tuition covers about 80 percent of the cost of an OVS education. The Annual Fund supplements tuition revenue to make our budget whole. Regardless of size, your gift will benefit the school community in a significant way, helping support experiential learning, faculty professional development, outdoor education, athletics, and more.

The OVS Alumni Challenge encourages all former students to participate in helping perpetuate the school’s vital role today. Joining the OVS Alumni Challenge is simple: We challenge each class up through 2010 to donate at least $10,000 (collectively as a class); we challenge classes from 2011 to 2015 to donate at least $5,000; we challenge classes from 2016 to 2020 to donate at least $2,500; and we challenge classes from 2020 to 2025 to donate an amount significant to you.

The Go Organic Campaign strives to immediately fund an annual budget increase of $125,000 to support the purchase of organic ingredients across our food program for the Lower Campus and the Upper Campus for the 2026-27 academic year.
