Kelly Hardy - Elementary Faculty

Ms. Hardy is excited to start the 2025-26 year at OVS! This will be her fourth year teaching Fourth Grade at Ojai Valley School. Prior to joining the faculty, she  taught Reading Literacy at Frank Middle School in Oxnard, CA.  She earned my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential in Elementary Education at California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) in 2022. Ms. Hardy says, “Being a teacher gives me the greatest joy and inspiration for life to share my knowledge, enthusiasm, and love of learning with growing minds.”

Ms. Hardy’s family has called the Ojai Valley home for over 100 years. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara with an enthusiasm for exploring and learning about the local beaches and mountains. From a young age, she developed a great appreciation for nature, animals, and the flora and fauna  in our surrounding area. In addition to camping and hiking, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family.  She has two grown sons and a daughter who is currently attending OVS Upper Campus.
