Biography
When the opportunity arose, Melanie jumped at the chance to pursue her passion for teaching. She has been a teacher’s assistant in the primary program since 2001. Melanie enjoys helping with the school’s plays and, for three years, she has been the after-school coordinator. She enjoys this position as it gives her ample time to get to know students of all ages and feel a part of the whole school.
Melanie has lived in Ojai all her life. She and her husband, Rob, are raising two children, Destani, a graduate of the Lower Campus, and Ryder, a current first grader. Melanie enjoys race cars, football, fashion and poetry.
