Summer School Admission

We appreciate your interest in Ojai Valley School's summer programs and look forward to working with you during the admission process. It is our goal to enroll positive, outgoing students who want to fully participate in all aspects of the OVS Summer School & Camp. We strive to enroll students from all backgrounds whose talents, skills and interests will enrich the OVS community, summer and fall.

Our summer school begins June 20 and ends July 31. Session dates during that time frame vary depending on the program.

For example, campers enrolling in the Lower Camp, grades 3-8, or any of the specialized camp programs at the Lower Campus such as Sports Camp, Performing Arts Camp or , Equestrian Camp can enroll for two, four, or six weeks. Primary students in the Junior Camp can enroll for one-week sessions throughout the summer.

At the Upper Camp, grades 9-12, students can enroll for three-week sessions or the full six-week session. Those session dates are designed to provide students the instructional time necessary to earn either semester or year credit for certain high school courses, such as English, Spanish, Ceramics, Geometry, or Algebra. Equestrian Camp at the Upper School is also offered in three-week or six-week sessions, while the Environmental Studies Camp is a four-week program.
